HOW TO BECOME AN EGG DONOR?

Egg Donation Process

01. APPLY ONLINE

You’ll be required to upload a few photos. These include a head shot, full length shot, and a variety of images that are authentic and showcase your natural beauty.

02. INTERVIEW WITH YOUR CASE MANAGER

After the application has been reviewed, one of our case managers will contact you to schedule an interview either in-person or online. The purpose of the interview is to get to know you, and for us to answer any question that you may have.

03. MATCHING

Once the application has been approved, you’ll be added to our database of egg donors. The intended parents of who’s requirements you match will view your profile. Should they wish to proceed, your case guide will get in touch with you to schedule your pre-screening appointments.

04. PRE-SCREENING

IVF doctors will order pre-screen tests for donors to complete. The pre-screening tests include blood tests and some simple gynecological examinations. If all the medical reports are approved by the IVF doctor, you will be medically cleared. For donors outside of the USA, the pre-screening tests may be completed with a local doctor. GDSA will schedule these appointments accordingly.

If you would like to register as an egg donor with us, please complete the online registration form. Once your application has been received, we will be in touch with you to schedule a virtual or face-to-face meeting.

05. LEGAL

By this step, intended parents would have initiated the legal contract of egg donation. GDSA will hire the attorney team to review the contract with you, or you may have your own attorney to review the legal contract before proceeding. At the same time, your insurance (Medical and Life insurance) and escrow accounts will be set up.

06. TRAVEL

If you need to travel to an IVF clinic, our team will arrange all your trip requirements, such as, accommodation, flights, and transport. For international donors, an escrow case coordinator will accompany you to make sure your trip is safe and comfortable.

07. SIMULATION CALENDAR

A stimulation calendar will be issued after both legal and medical clearances have been obtained. The calendar has all of the tasks from the start date of stimulation until the eggs are retrieved. The entire calendar usually takes 12-15 weeks. Please be prepared to take at least 2 weeks off from work. You will be fully supported and guided during this time.

08. EGG RETRIEVAL

We will be there to support and guide you on the day of your egg retrieval. This will take place at an IVF clinic

09. COMPENSATION

The compensation will be wired out of trust account within 1 business day after the IVF clinic confirms the egg retrieval successful and concluded.
